Due to many requests, I have created a simple video tutorial to help you upload your own signs into Second Life for use with the 5 Foot Sign and Easel Sign objects. This tutorial requires Second Life, Paint, and $10L dollars (Second Life currency).
.) Open Paint (Start>All Programs>Accessories>Paint)
.) Select Image and then Attributes and set your size to 256x256 pixels
.) Enter your text within the canvas.
.) Select your text and move it into the center of the canvas.
.) Save your image as a .jpg file (File>Save)
.) Open Second Life and drag an Easel Sign from your Inventory
.) Import your image (File>Import Image)
.) Check your image in the preview and select Pay $10L to upload your texture
.) A new box will appear, displaying your texture as an SL asset
.) Left click on the image and drag it onto the sign portion of the Easel Sign
